The Snug Harbour building has 9 units, each with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 896 square feet. Each comes with an assigned slip. Slips are 30 feet long. The docks are minimal, with no fingers, only piles. When I was there, they were not in particularly good condition. They’ve done a lot of upkeep on the building. Perhaps the docks are next.
The beach is just a block east. The location is a little more than a mile from Snow’s Cut, which leads to the Cape Fear River. Another 2 miles north brings you to Carolina Beach Inlet and open water. The inlet isn’t dredged and can be exciting, especially when the tide is running strong.
