2 Marina Street Condominiums is a rare condo with an available 40-foot slip. Tucked up under the Wrightsville Beach Bridge on the western end of Harbor Island. Harbor Island is the island between the mainland and Wrightsville Beach. Forty-foot slips were offered with each unit when they were sold new. Units A & B, both on the first floor, purchased slips and have passed them along in resales. It is unclear whether units C & D purchased slips. The remaining slips in the marina are owned and managed by Wrightsville Yacht Club.
There are two floor plans, one of each on each floor. Units A & C are 3 bedroom 3 bath at 1724 square feet. Each bedroom in this floor plan has an en suite bath. Units B & D are 3-bedroom, 2-bath, 1,694 square feet, with the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms sharing a bath. All bedrooms are arranged along the east side of the building, with the living area overlooking the marina. The rear of the building faces northwest, offering spectacular sunsets over the marina and the intracoastal waterway.
The marina is bulkheaded on the north and east sides. The docks float inside the bulkheads. The slips are double with piles, with full fingers and corner gussets. Each slip has a dock box, and utilities are shared at the pedestals. The surface is wood decking and an aluminum gangway. The docks are well equipped and maintained.
Perfectly situated to head north or south on the intracoastal waterway or out of Masonboro Inlet to blue water.
Community participation is strong.
