501 Canal Drive is a six-unit condominium complex with two side-by-side units on each floor. Each unit is roughly 870 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Each unit comes with a slip of about 28 feet. The slips have no fingers and minimal hardware. Power and water are available at the centrally located docks.
The beach is just a block east. The location is a little more than a mile from Snow’s Cut, which leads to the Cape Fear River. Another 2 miles north brings you to Carolina Beach Inlet and open water. The inlet isn’t dredged and can be exciting, especially when the tide is running strong.
