Bogue Sound Yacht Club has a well-protected artificial harbor off of Bogue Sound west of Morehead City. This gated subdivision sits across the sound from Emerald Isle. The slips are adequately equipped for a community marina. Most of the slips have power lifts. The slips appear to accommodate boats up to 25 feet. A ramp and a fish-cleaning station are available.
As is typical for waterfront communities, property size and value vary widely with proximity to the water. In 2023, a house around 1600 sq ft sold for $330,000. At the time of this writing, a waterfront property reported at 4,700 sq ft was asking $3.25 million.
