Dunbar Landing is a 10-parcel subdivision. Two of the 10 parcels have private docks. The common dock services the remaining 8 lots. Two floating platforms are accessed by two aluminum gangways, with boats tied off parallel to the platform. Owners are assigned a 24-foot space. The docks are wood-framed with wood decking. There is a deck at deck on the pier.
This facility is pretty far up Pages Creek, which is tidal and subject to shoaling. This will restrict craft to a shallow draft. This location is 1.2 miles from the intracoastal waterway. Another 4 miles gets you to the Wrightsville Beach Bridge and several waterfront restaurants. Another 3 miles gets you to the Masonboro Inlet and blue water. South of there is Masonboro Island, a 7.5-mile-long undeveloped barrier island that can be accessed at several locations off the intracoastal waterway. Going north from Pages Creek, 2.3 miles is Rich Inlet and Lea-Hutaff Island, a 4-mile-long undeveloped island.
Neighborhood participation in the facility is moderate.
