Flagship Villa – If you’re serious about boating, this is for you. These 3-bedroom, 2 & 1/2 bath units come with 2 or 3 boat slips. Slips are 30 feet long. The docks are well maintained, with utility pedestals and some with dock boxes. Each unit also has a one-car garage with extra storage space and an owner’s closet. They can be a bit dated, as they were built in 1981, but with a bit of updating, these are outstanding units. So old guy ran me off some; I only got one picture of the docks. I’m not bitter, nope, not me. There were a couple of different measurements in the MLS for square footage, so let’s say they’re somewhere between 1350 and 1450 square feet.
To the north is the intracoastal waterway, Wrightsville Beach, Masonboro Inlet, and beyond; to the west, through Snow’s Cut, and you’ll enter the Cape Fear River, with Wilmington to the north and Southport to the south. And just to the northeast is the Carolina Beach Inlet. The inlet isn’t dredged and can be tricky to navigate, but the Atlantic is just beyond.
