MacBry Estates is a small subdivision with 9 lots. A well-protected harbor is carved into the mainland from Core Sound. Docks are constructed parallel to the shore on both sides of the carve-out. Boats are tied up off, parallel to, those two piers. There is a ramp. Slips are assigned, but it seems informal. A dirt road provides access to the subdivision. Marshallberg is a small and remote town behind Cape Lookout. The closest town of any size is Beaufort, about a 20-minute drive away. If you’re looking for a quiet, remote location, this might be it.
