Marsh Harbour Villas is a four-unit townhome complex on Harbor Island, the island which sits between the mainland and Wrightsville Beach. The complex sits at the east end of an ‘L’-shaped channel cut from Motts Channel. The Villas have a floating dock in a well-protected area. The floating dock is 75 feet long. Spaces are said to be assigned in the MLS, one reputed to be 25 feet, but that math leaves one of the 4 units out. Small boats tie off parallel to the dock on the shallow side, but their size will be limited. An aluminum gangway leads to a wood-framed floating dock with metal piles, all of which appear to be in good condition. Utility pedestals, padding all around, and plenty of cleats. All in all, a very nice private facility.
Motts Channel runs east to west, with Wrightsville Beach, Masonboro Channel, and Masonboro Island to the east and the intracoastal waterway to the west. Masonboro Island is a 7.5-mile-long undeveloped barrier island which can be accessed in several locations off the intracoastal waterway.
Community participation is strong.
The last sale through the MLS was in 2018, so information on the association and sales is stale and likely to have changed.
