Sunset Shores, Merritt NC, Pamlico Co

Sunset Shores is a small subdivision of about 15 plots on the east bank of Brown Creek. The community dock is more active than most, and although it has some years on it, it is being well maintained. A friendly resident pointed out that they had added a deck to the docks so neighbors could sit and socialize. It’s an all-wood structure of fixed height, with painted wooden decking. The docks are lit, and there is power, water, and adequate hardware, but no power pedestals.
