This is a duplex on Elizabeth City's waterfront in an older renovated building looking east over the Pasquotank River. One of the units sold through the MLS in 2020. The square footage was not given in the listing but it had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Photos showed that it had a high grade of finishing detail, granite countertops, hardwood floors and wainscoting throughout and a very large deck. The finishing work was very formal, Each unit had one boat slip with a power left. I wasn't able to determine the length of the slips but one held a run about and the other a pontoon boat.
This would be great downtown living with shops and restaurants at your back and dinner cruises on the Pasquotank. Manteo would not be out of reach at 36 miles and there's Herford and Edenton west along the Albemarle Sound

Pembroke Creek Townhouses is a unique complex of 18 townhouses in the Edenton community. Edenton is a one of the true gems of North Carolina's inland coast. Somewhat remote, and small with only around 4500 it is still a viable town and the architectural legacy of its prosperous past is visible everywhere. It's a little over an hour's drive to either Greenville NC or Norfolk VA, or a little over 2 hours from Raleigh. The townhouses are on the western side of the historical downtown arranged in three clusters around a courtyard all overlooking its marina on Pembroke Creek. of But it is remote. The townhouse are staggered to improve views and look similar to brownstones or row houses. They vary in size and design, some have single car garages, some do not. They range in size from around 1900 to 3500 square feet with anywhere from 2 to 4 bedrooms. Each has a gated yard behind the house leading to the open courtyard and the marina beyond. The complex was built in 1990 and modifications have been made to individual units over the years. They are all three stories and none appear to have elevators. You enter onto the second floor and there is a basement floor below. Most appear to have formal dining rooms, there are occasional fireplaces, most are ventless.
