Neuse Winds is a high-end neighborhood of about 41 lots. All but a half dozen or so are on the water, and most of them have their own docks.
Consequently, the community docks at Neuse Winds have suffered from neglect. No boats were docked there when I visited. Missing decking boards, particularly on the partial fingers, are creating unsafe conditions. Power service exists, but only one meter was installed.
If you’re seriously considering Neuse Winds and are purchasing a landlocked lot, it’s in your best interest to confirm whether the neighborhood association will repair and maintain the docks.
