Cedar Point is a small subdivision with 17 lots, with a canal running up the middle of the neighborhood from Topsail Sound about halfway through, west to east. The lots along the southwest side of the canal have their own docks, while the landlocked lots share a dock on the northeast side. Boats are tied off parallel to the dock.

Blue Water Townhouses are a cluster of 6 units, with 4 more in the works. They are located in Surf City just north of the southern high bridge to Topsail Island. These are large townhouses of around 2,500 square feet, available in 4- and 5-bedroom configurations. They offer great views right across the docks, over the marsh grass, and to the intracoastal waterway beyond. Commercial uses surround the complex in a very active area of Surf City. So if you are looking for quiet solitude, keep looking.
Diamond Point is a small neighborhood with homes of very contemporary designs. It has a small, adequate marina, but it won't suit serious users. A resident there said that they have trouble getting out in a small 13-foot skiff at low tide. So unless they dredge it, boaters would have to time their trips with the tides. Not a convenient situation.
