This is a subdivision within a subdivision where six houses share a dock with six slips. Each slip has a power lift. A floating dock section in the middle supports small-craft launches and helps guests get on and off boats. The docks appear to be well maintained. It's a great facility for boats up to about 25 feet.
This small complex has 2 duplexes that share a very nice dock with 6 assigned slips. I couldn't access the docks directly, so I could only see them from a distance; they appear well maintained and well equipped. All are 25-foot single slips with power lifts.
Captain’s Landing is a 10-unit complex that claims to be the island's only condo with deep-water access. The front of the complex faces Causeway Drive, the island's main artery. That road carries all the traffic entering or leaving the island. But all the condos abut one another in a single line, so the Causeway Drive side of the building serves little more than parking. The rear of the building is its own world, with double porches for each unit overlooking a wide lawn dotted with palm trees and a well-equipped, well-maintained marina. Most, but not all, of the slips have power lifts.
Bent Tree Plantation is a six-unit condominium sharing a dock with 6 slips. Although this development has several multi-unit buildings, only one 6-unit building includes a boat slip. All have power lifts and appear to be 25 feet long. Owners also have access to the larger residential neighborhood's amenities, including the clubhouse, pool, and picnic grounds.

Gores Landing Townhomes is an 8-unit condominium complex on the intracoastal waterway across from Ocean Isle Beach. Each unit is three stories each with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Each unit has a two-car garage on the ground floor with a large flex space on the intracoastal side. The 27 x 15 master is on the second floor facing the intracoastal. An additional bedroom with an attached bath is on that floor. The third floor features a great room overlooking the waterway with an open kitchen and dining arrangement. The third bedroom is located on the north side of this floor. A private elevator serves all three floors. The docks are wood-framed with wood decking and built at a fixed height. Water and electricity supply the power lifts, but there are no utility pedestals. The docks appeared to be in good condition.
